 Maine State Cat

The Maine Coon Cat may have originated when shorhaired domestic cats mated with longhaired cats from overseas who were aboard ships that docked along the Maine coast.
The Maine Coon Cat is characterized by its very bushy tail and raccoon-like coloring. They can weigh from 9-18 pounds.
